This year, we focused our energy on four major upgrades designed to simplify how you run your resale business. From smarter Shopify selling to seller payouts with zero admin, here’s a look at what we’ve shipped, and what’s coming next.
2025 Highlights
1. Shopify App – Powering your storefront
You can now connect Ribbn with Shopify. Manage your inventory, sellers, and commission splits inside Ribbn, while selling online via the world’s most trusted e-commerce platform. Use the new “Map to Shopify” button to control exactly what goes live.
NOTE: We now recommend Shopify for all online sales, and we’ll no longer be investing in our own webshop builder.
2. POS System – Built for resale and (soon) approved by Skatteverket
Our web-based POS has been rebuilt to meet regulatory standards. Use Ribbn as a complete POS (sell in-store with a scanner, screen, or your phone, and connect to receipt printers, too), and print X and Z reports in the end of the day. The Skatteverket application is in progress, and we’ll let you know once it's approved.
3. Seller Self Payout – Instant payouts, zero admin
No more bank transfers, emails, or GDPR risks. With Seller Self Payout, sellers get a notification once their item sells (you’re in charge of moving it to the sate: Sold Seller Self Payout) and cash out directly in the app using secure connections via Stripe and Tink.

4. Multi-Variant Support – Sell more than just one-of-a-kind
You can now add sizes and quantities to a single SKU, perfect for outlet collabs or overstock sales. This new flexibility works seamlessly with Shopify, while still keeping our core focus on one-of-a-kind and consignment-based items.
Other features we launched in 2025:
White label app - This year, we rebuilt our white label app from the ground up, and it's now easier than ever to launch your own branded resale app in the App Store.We've already rolled out apps for: Pete & Harry - A premium menswear resale brand. Circuit’s Loppis - A local resale destination in Birsta City, Sundsvall. ReRobe - Premium resale brand for men and women. With a white label app, your store gets its own presence in the App Store, complete with seamless Sell Requests, in-app chat, and Seller Self Payouts. It’s the most user-friendly way to digitize consignment and keep your sellers engaged.Interested in launching your own? Reach out to our team and we’ll walk you through what it takes.
Stock Inventory Transfer - Easily move items between your store locations and keep your inventory up to date. Scan an item as it leaves one location, select where it’s headed, and re-scan it when it arrives to update the product’s location automatically.
Stocktake - Select a location and scan each product one by one. Items will automatically be assigned to the selected location, helping you keep inventory accurate and organized.
Built-in Image Background Remover – Want cleaner, more professional product photos without a photo studio? Our background remover lets you clear the background on any seller-uploaded image, or to your own, automatically. It’s perfect for creating a consistent look across your online store and social channels.If you’d like this feature activated for your account, just reach out to us and we’ll get you set up.
Tradera Integration – In addition to Shopify, you can now connect your Tradera seller account to Ribbn. Just like with Shopify, you’ll be able to map products directly from your inventory and list them on Tradera as an additional sales channel. It’s a simple way to boost visibility and increase your chances of selling more stock. If you’d like to activate this integration, just reach out to us and we’ll help you get started.
Standard size taxonomy – Group label sizes under a “standard size” to make filtering easier and clearer for your online shoppers.
Quantity tracking on unique items – Have two of the same item? Just add a quantity to an SKU and as each unit sells, the quantity will update automatically, giving you clearer stock visibility and smoother inventory management.
Edit tax settings in bulk – Save time when setting or updating VAT rules.
Improved order search – Search by order number or SKU to quickly find what you need.
What’s Ahead in 2026
Next year, our focus will shift toward deeper platform improvements - so we’ll be working less reactively and more strategically. That means fewer quick fixes, and more long-term upgrades designed to support your growth at scale.

If there’s something you’re missing or would like to see improved, we’re all ear, but please send your request to feedback@myribbn.com. All suggestions will go through a triage process where we evaluate the request against our roadmap. From there, it’ll move through design and into dev when appropriate.
Just a note: feature requests tied to the old webshop builder will not be prioritized, as we’re now recommending Shopify for all online sales.
Here’s what we will be working on:
Deeper Shopify App Integration We'll continue improving the Ribbn + Shopify experience - expect smoother syncs and expanded functionality.
A New Look for Analytics and Reports We're redesigning the analytics dashboard with more detailed, actionable insights and improved reporting system.
Upgrades to the Customer Tab We’ll be adding more functionality so you can open chats directly from a customer profile, view their full order and selling history, track earnings, and filter your top customers with ease.
Bug Fixes and Improvements in Chat Our in-app and desktop chat will get the fixes it needs - so communication stays smooth between you and your sellers.
Flexible Settings We’ll be introducing more toggles and custom settings so you can tailor Ribbn to your store’s needs.
Returns + Refunds via Stripe In-store returns will soon trigger refunds in Stripe automatically - no more jumping between tools. Online returns is handled in Shopify.
Tap-to-Pay In 2026, your Ribbn Mobile App will support Tap to Pay, no external card such Zettle readers required.
Smart Help via help.ribbn.ai Our help center is constantly growing. Next year, you’ll meet our new chat agent who can guide you to the right article or step-by-step tutorial.
Discount Codes + Line Item Discounts You’ll be able to run promotions with discount codes, or apply discounts to specific items during checkout.
And of course, we’ll continue rolling out smaller improvements throughout the year - many based on your feedback.
